Marlie Décopain-Lake is a New York-based creative director, brand designer, and illustrator with over a decade of experience in branding, advertising, and fine art. Her work is held in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Yale University Art Gallery, Rutgers University, and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. She founded Moonbridge Studios to amplify the voices of brands dedicated to environmental, social, and cultural causes, partnering with purpose-driven organizations to create visual identities, illustration, and motion graphics that make culture visible and lasting.

I work with purpose-driven brands, cultural organizations, and creative teams to develop visual systems shaped by story, identity, and context.
My work focuses on translating culture and lived experience into design that feels clear, intentional, and enduring. It spans brand identity, illustration, and motion, with select projects extending into packaging and physical environments, from independent brands to agency-led campaigns and cultural initiatives.
Work has been exhibited in New York and is included in multi-artist collections held by the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Yale University Art Gallery, Rutgers University, and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. I collaborate with national and global teams, as well as organizations focused on environmental, cultural, and social impact.
If you’re building something intentional and looking for a creative partner, I’d love to hear from you.
